mixed media, video installation 10' x 30' x 20' thisisnotashop Dublin, Ireland
Fogtiogarburn is a site specific installation and “sculpture migration”, which explores the past and present perspectives of local space and place. The installation was created to be viewed from the perspective of the Luas Line (the light rail train that runs through the city), that stops in front of the gallery’s windows. Accompanying the gallery installation was a “sculpture migration”, where pink glitter incrusted “fogtiogarburn” sculptures were placed in residential house windows around Dublin. The video was shot on location at the historic Smithfield horse market a few blocks away from the gallery, and was featured (along with the pink fog) in the video projection visible on the gallery’s window.
